THE ILLEUAD. [monster roster]
THE ILLEUAD'S MONSTER ROSTER.
DIRECTORY:
Comment below with your suggested monster's name, appearance, abilities, what it can do to people, et cetera.
Note that monsters that appear that are extremely hostile will likely only appear during the nightmare shifts, and during the normal foggy night hours, will remain afraid to step into the light of the moon.
(However, this means that if the players happen to wander into a dark alleyway with no illumination... well. That's their responsibility now, isn't it?)
DIRECTORY:
- Logan's Silent Hill-inspired A-sin series, probably lol (Abandonment, Aberration, Antagony, Abuse, Anomaly, Abjuration, Affection, Agony, Asphyxia, Abstraction, Addiction, Anxiety, Abnegation, Absence, etc).
- The "Naked Hell Sock"
- Hex Beasts, the Harrowing, etc.

The Hex Beasts & The Harrowing
The Hex Beasts are humanoid creatures lacking distinct facial features, more appearing as a mass of something natural and once-living more than put-together human. They could be twigs, flowers, dirt, flesh -- but one trait that they all share is the pair of twisting antlers that rise from their skulls, often stained with dried blood and gored remains. They only lurk in the shadows for the most part, but go rampant during the nightmare shifts, roaming the streets and hunting for what they can kill -- for sport, it seems. Though they lumber slow, their charges are quick and violent. They are particularly weak to fire, but even blunt force will leave one immobile after enough hits.
The Harrowing are mysterious entities, thought to be like the "special police" of the Illeuad -- with dark suits and a face like featureless white skin pulled taut over a face, they do not speak, and they do not show sympathy. From their fingertips drip something green, a powerful narcotic tranquiliser, ready to subdue their target at any moment, but they are merciless. Even if their sender has requested they bring their targets back alive, they are not above killing and bringing back their dead bodies instead. Their mere presence can fill an individual with paralysing fear and nauseating dread -- and their weaknesses are few, if barely any. The only thing known is that pure light is their enemy. When they come, be ready to run. And don't look back.
